Chiriches will not remain in England
Tottenham are trying to offload Vlad Chiriches who no longer appears to have a future at Spurs according to his agent.
Back on the 25th May I brought you the story that Franco Baldini was trying to swap him for Stefan Savic at Fiorentina.
Baldini worls on Chiriches swap deal
Chiriches has had a very poor season always looking a disaster waiting to happen. His positional sense is poor, he is weak in the air, poor on his left side and doesn't communicate. He constantly passes the ball to the opposition in our own half and takes risks when risks should not be taken.
It was clear from early on he was either unsuited to the Premier League or was not ready for it. But his flair convinced many he was brilliant, not his agent, not his coaches, not the Spurs hierarchy though.
Now the players agent Florin Manea has told the Italian press his client is unlikely to stay in England.
Stefan Savic was a youngster who also struggled in the Premier League when Manchester City bought him but he has developed his game and appears ready for the challenge this time being courted by a host of top clubs around Europe.

Vlad Chiriches gives us a bargaining chip, although Fiorentina were also interested in Younes Kaboul. Chiriches however would be the cheaper option with greater transfer value in the coming years.

"Did you see how he played; I believe he will not remain in England. I think he will go to Fiorentina. Tottenham? I understand their interest Savic. For my client, however, it is better to play Italian football rather than English, I think he can adapt more easily.”
